“We're optimistic. We're still here. There are a lot of question marks and we don't have the answers. How many of our membership base is left ? Most of them I'm sure are scattered across the country. I would imagine there's quite a few in Little Rock.”

“I'm very excited that our exhibition is coming to Little Rock. I think it will hopefully be helpful in explaining what African art is, and hopefully people that might not normally come to the Arkansas Arts Center will consider it and come and appreciate it. It may stimulate new art there in a new way. In New Orleans that's what we call lagniappe, a little something extra for nothing.”
