“(In the first half), I thought offensively we tried to rush some things and forced some things, instead of just letting things happen. We did a much better job in the second half, and defensively we played much better in the second half, too.”
“That was nice that we had a tough game, especially coming from behind the way we did. (Our girls) didn't hang their heads or anything, they really came out and played hard and took care of what we needed to take care of.”
“We don't have to talk about last year. The girls have it in the back of their minds what happened. Just as it was then, our goal is to win a state championship, but we're not going to overlook anybody and we're going to take it one game at a time.”
“Being the top-ranked team, everyone is always trying to knock you off. We have to be ready for that. But at this time, you should be ready for that. There are no easy games. Like I mentioned before, we're going to take one game at a time and see what happens, but we're excited about the opportunity in front of us.”
