“We were in every match today. We were pretty steady for the day. Our serving let us down in one game in the Evansville Reitz match. Overall, I would like to commend Kaelin Tuell. She played the back row for us and did a good job. Kara Dieterlen helped us with a couple of service runs and she's starting to show elements of leadership, which we've been looking for. I thought Kelsie McKee did a pretty good job at the net.”
“I certainly saw a lot of things that we need to work on. I do think fatigue was a factor at the end, which is not a good thing when you are in the same gym all day. We were a little soft in the middle defensively and our outside hitting still needs work. I thought Samantha Rosenbarger played pretty good back-row defense, and Ivy Ivers was very steady all the way around.”
“Defensively, we played pretty hard and our net defense wasn't bad. But we didn't have the opportunity to put the ball away on them as much as we liked.”
“It's important enough that we should take another look at it, ... We've hired (engineering firm) HMG to take a look at the rates. There's still going to be a sewer rate increase, but it may be spread out through more years.”
