“For the personnel we have on our team and the ability that this team has, it was a lot of wasted potential. It was just never utilized on a regular basis that could have helped us win this football game.”
“I really felt like our kids focused a lot more in the second half. It was trying to get back over that hump and bounce back and I think they showed a little bit of the effort in the second half but not enough, though.”
“There's no working into the season. It's kind of become commonplace. We've worked against them in (summer) 7-on-7 (passing league at EAHS) and that's helped in the learning curve to face a spread team like them. I don't think we feel as much like a fish out of water as we used to.”
