“There was a lot of team interaction. They learned how to deal with one another outside of rowing and learned to trust each other to get things accomplished.”
“One of the nice things about racing earlier is we get to see what we have. We can really identify what boats will be most competitive. Grand Valley State is a good program and that race will help us identify some of our weaknesses in March and still have eight weeks to make corrections before the Regional Championships.”
“We had the ability to get an inn that would allow us to have run of the house. It was a great opportunity for us and a very affordable opportunity. I love it. It's the third year we've been there, and we plan on going back next year.”
